Premier Integrated Rehab (PIR) has expanded its presence to Kuala Terengganu with the opening of a new rehabilitation centre, extending access to quality rehabilitation services for patients and communities across Malaysia’s East Coast.
The opening was attended by YB Dato’ Haji Wan Sukairi Wan Abdullah, together with leaders from IHH Healthcare Malaysia and representatives from Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin, the Terengganu State Government, industry partners and corporate clients.
The new centre further strengthens IHH’s integrated care approach by extending support beyond acute treatment into patients’ rehabilitation and recovery journey. With a range of rehabilitation services available closer to home, PIR Kuala Terengganu aims to help patients restore mobility and function, regain independence and improve their overall quality of life.
The launch also reflects the value of collaboration across healthcare, academia, government and industry. These partnerships will help create further opportunities for knowledge exchange, professional development and new approaches to rehabilitation care.
The opening of PIR Kuala Terengganu marks another step in IHH’s broader commitment to helping people not only live longer, but live better.
