Mount Elizabeth Hospitals Orchard and Novena have been recognised for their unwavering commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centred care at the Singapore Health Quality Service Awards (SHQSA) 2026, organised by SingHealth.

Across both hospitals, a total of 97 healthcare professionals were honoured for their dedication to delivering quality care and an exceptional patient experience. Collectively, the teams received 1 Star Award, 7 Gold Awards, and 89 Silver Awards, reflecting the depth and consistency of service excellence across clinical and ancillary roles.

At Mount Elizabeth Hospital, staff members received 42 Silver Awards, 7 Gold Awards, and 1 Star Award, recognising outstanding contributions across multiple functions.

Meanwhile, Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital saw 47 Silver Award recipients, highlighting the hospital’s strong culture of service quality and patient focus.

Together, these achievements underscore the shared commitment of both hospitals to uphold the highest standards of care at every patient touchpoint.

A special mention goes to Imran Bin Ahmad, Senior Manager of Environmental Services at Mount Elizabeth Hospital Orchard, who received the Superstar Award – Exemplar Leader (Ancillary). He was the sole recipient from IHH Healthcare Singapore to receive this prestigious recognition at SHQSA 2026.

Imran’s leadership has had a tangible impact on both care quality and patient experience. His initiatives range from streamlining room cleaning processes and improving staff tools to redesigning nurses’ uniforms, all with the aim of creating cleaner, safer, and more welcoming spaces for patients and caregivers alike. Guided by his belief that a human touch is essential in healthcare, he continues to inspire his team to serve with purpose, pride, and empathy.

The Singapore Health Quality Service Awards is a nationwide platform that honours healthcare professionals who consistently deliver quality care and excellent service. For Mount Elizabeth Hospitals, this recognition reflects more than individual achievements. It represents a collective culture rooted in professionalism, compassion, and the core value of putting patients first.

Mount Elizabeth Hospitals extend heartfelt congratulations to all award recipients for their dedication and contributions, and remain deeply proud of the people who continue to shape meaningful patient experiences every day.
