Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong, part of the IHH Healthcare network, has entered into a strategic partnership with the Asian Venous Academy and Dr Smile Medical Group to advance collaboration in venous disease related services, research and education.

The partnership will promote academic exchange, enhance clinical practice, support medical education and drive innovation, including the application of artificial intelligence in venous care. The shared goal is to elevate standards of care and improve patient outcomes across the region.
Dr Kenneth Tsang, Regional CEO of IHH Healthcare North Asia and CEO of Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong, highlighted that the collaboration will leverage Hong Kong’s strengths in clinical research and international standards. It will also provide a platform to support the global expansion of clinical skills, medical technologies and innovative therapies developed by Chinese Mainland companies.
Through structured academic exchange and multidisciplinary clinical collaboration, the initiative aims to deepen professional expertise in venous disease care while strengthening regional and international partnerships.
