The new multidisciplinary hub integrates six specialties to deliver full-cycle care for vascular diseases, reinforcing healthcare innovation in China.

Parkway Shanghai Hospital officially inaugurated its Pan Vascular Centre on 16 March 2026, during the Pan Vascular Academic Forum held at the Shanghai New Hongqiao International Medical Centre. Witnessed by distinguished guests and experts, the event marked a significant milestone in advancing comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of pan-vascular diseases.
The Centre fosters seamless collaboration across six key specialties: Cardiology, Cardiovascular Surgery, Neurosurgery, Endocrinology, Vascular Surgery, and Rehabilitation Medicine. This multidisciplinary approach promotes a shift from "segmented treatment" to a systematic, integrated method, building a full-cycle care model that encompasses screening, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention.
Academician Ge Junbo of the Chinese Academy of Sciences has been appointed Chief Scientist of Parkway Shanghai Hospital to lead the Centre. Dr Kenneth Tsang, Regional CEO of IHH Healthcare North Asia, reaffirmed IHH's commitment to actively participate in China’s healthcare innovation, strengthen Shanghai-Hong Kong collaboration, foster talent development, and leverage global expertise to support healthcare advancement across the region.
