04 Jun 2026

Gleneagles Hong Kong continues to extend its care beyond healthcare by supporting initiatives that help build a more inclusive society.

As title sponsor of the 2nd Classification Conference cum Workshop organised by the China Hong Kong Paralympic Committee on 23 May, Gleneagles Hong Kong joined stakeholders from across the sporting and healthcare communities to advance the development of para sports in Hong Kong.

Speaking at the event, Dr Kenneth Tsang, Regional Chief Executive Officer of IHH Healthcare North Asia and Chief Executive Officer of Gleneagles Hong Kong, highlighted the importance of promoting inclusivity, safeguarding athletes’ health and supporting the sustainable development of para sports.

Guided by IHH Healthcare’s “Care. For Good.” aspiration, Gleneagles Hong Kong is committed to empowering individuals of all genders, backgrounds and abilities to lead healthier and more confident lives.

This commitment includes providing professional medical support to the Hong Kong, China delegation at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games and the upcoming Asian Para Games in October. Gleneagles Hong Kong has also partnered with the Hong Kong, China Sports Association for Persons with Intellectual Disability to provide free health and vision screenings for students with intellectual disability, helping them take part in sports safely.

Classification plays an important role in ensuring fair competition for para athletes. By supporting this conference and workshop, Gleneagles Hong Kong is helping to facilitate professional exchange, strengthen alignment with international standards and contribute to the continued growth of para sports.

Looking ahead, Gleneagles Hong Kong will continue to work with partners across different sectors to bring care beyond healthcare and into the wider community.
