On 22 July 2025, Gleneagles JPMC took part in the second international health talk organised by Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) in Malang, East Java Province, as part of ongoing collaboration to raise awareness of heart health and promote cross-border access to medical care.
The session spotlighted Brunei as a regional destination for high-quality medical care, with Gleneagles JPMC presenting its comprehensive range of services and advanced capabilities as a trusted option for patients seeking specialised cardiac treatment.
Dr Eugene Sim, Chief of Clinical Services and Director of Cardiac Surgery at Gleneagles JPMC, delivered an engaging presentation on heart health. He highlighted the warning signs of heart attacks and stressed the importance of early detection and lifestyle adjustments in preventing cardiovascular disease.
