Gleneagles Hospital Johor has introduced a new International Lounge to better support Indonesian patients seeking care in Johor.
Since 2022, more than 20,000 Indonesian patients have received treatment at the hospital, with medical tourist arrivals rising by 66 percent in 2025. This reflects growing confidence in Johor as a trusted and accessible healthcare destination.
The lounge was officially launched by YB Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad, Minister of Health Malaysia, and attended by hospital leadership, marking a key development in Gleneagles Hospital Johor’s long-standing relationship with patients from Indonesia.
The launch highlights its ongoing commitment to Malaysia’s medical tourism ecosystem. The International Lounge further reinforces the hospital’s focus on patient-centred care, ensuring Indonesian patients continue to receive coordinated and trusted support during their treatment journey.
