At the forum, Dr Kenneth Tsang, Regional Chief Executive Officer of IHH Healthcare North Asia and Chief Executive Officer of Gleneagles Hong Kong, shared perspectives on Hong Kong’s unique role in connecting Mainland medical institutions, pharmaceutical companies and medical device manufacturers with global markets. He also highlighted the opportunity to leverage Hong Kong’s strong medical education and talent base to support the Greater Bay Area, while balancing private healthcare development with public health priorities, including chronic disease prevention.
Building on this shared direction, Gleneagles Hong Kong signed a collaboration agreement with YYT Technology Hub during the event. The partnership aims to strengthen cross-border healthcare innovation and service delivery, including plans to establish a high-end cross-border medical client service centre, explore digital Renminbi payment for medical services, and develop secure applications for international medical data.
This collaboration reflects Gleneagles Hong Kong’s ongoing commitment to making healthcare more accessible, seamless and patient-focused, supporting better health outcomes across the Greater Bay Area.
