Fortis has launched its first dedicated Lung Failure Clinic at Fortis Escorts Hospital, Faridabad, in collaboration with Gleneagles Hospitals, India, part of the Fortis network.

The new clinic is designed to provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for patients with advanced and complex lung diseases. It brings together interventional pulmonologists, lung transplant specialists, cardiothoracic and vascular surgeons, critical care experts and allied healthcare professionals to support timely diagnosis, personalised treatment and seamless access to advanced therapies under one roof.
By combining expertise across multiple clinical disciplines, the clinic aims to strengthen the continuity of care for patients with severe respiratory conditions, from initial assessment and disease management to advanced interventions and lung transplantation, where clinically appropriate.
The launch was led by Dr Ravi Shekhar Jha, Director and Unit Head, Pulmonology, Fortis Escorts Hospital, Faridabad, and Dr Govini Balasubramani, Cardiothoracic and Heart-Lung Transplant Surgeon, Gleneagles Hospitals.
