Gleneagles JPMC joined leading cardiac professionals at the 30th ASEAN Federation of Cardiology Congress, supporting knowledge exchange and regional collaboration to advance cardiovascular care across ASEAN.

Gleneagles JPMC recently participated in the 30th ASEAN Federation of Cardiology Congress (AFCC 2026), bringing together cardiac specialists and healthcare professionals from across the ASEAN region for three days of learning, discussion and professional networking.
As Brunei’s only tertiary cardiac centre, Gleneagles JPMC supported the congress as part of its ongoing commitment to advancing cardiovascular care and strengthening regional collaboration. The event was officiated by Brunei’s Minister of Health, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, who attended as guest of honour.
The opening ceremony was attended by Chief Executive Officer Dr Peter Tay, alongside Gleneagles JPMC doctors and team members. Throughout the congress, the team contributed to talks and panel discussions, sharing insights, exchanging expertise and building connections with peers from across ASEAN.
The hospital’s Cardiovascular Laboratory (CVL) team also engaged participants through an interactive booth showcasing the CVL patient journey. Visitors took part in quizzes and activities while learning more about the team’s work and services.
By participating in regional platforms such as AFCC, Gleneagles JPMC continues to foster professional partnerships, support knowledge sharing and contribute to the ongoing advancement of cardiac care in the region.
