More than 8000 nurses across 36 units, joined Fortis Healthcare International Nurses Day 2026 celebrations, honouring the dedication and compassion of its nurses.

Aligned with the theme, “Our Nurses, Our Future: Empowered Nurses Save Lives”, the event at Fortis Memorial Research Institute on 13 May connected teams virtually, while Fortis senior leaders attended in person.
Innovation formed a key part of the celebrations. Through leadership interactions, learning initiatives, engagement activities and the “Innovate to Elevate: QIP & Innovation Project Challenge 2026”, nurses were given platforms to showcase innovative nursing practices and quality improvement initiatives that support better care delivery.
An e-book Hearts that Heal, Minds that Learn – Tales of Care and Compassion, featuring inspiring nursing stories, leadership messages, award highlights, and publications from across the network was also launched during the event. The celebrations reflected IHH’s group wide commitment to nursing excellence, innovation and professional development.
