Gleneagles JPMC expanded its medical tourism horizons at the launch of Royal Brunei Airlines’ inaugural flight to Balikpapan, Indonesia

On 19 February 2025, the Gleneagles JPMC team had the honour of welcoming His Excellency Brigadier General (R) Dato Seri Pahlawan Hj Abdul Razak bin Hj Abdul Kadir, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to Indonesia, to its booth at Royal Brunei Airlines’ flight launch event in Indonesia. The event provided an opportunity for us to proudly showcase our 42-bed cardiac hospital in Brunei as a premier destination for world-class cardiac care.

At the invitation of Royal Brunei Airlines, the team also visited Ibu Kota Negara Nusantara, Indonesia’s future capital, reinforcing our commitment to expanding medical tourism and providing exceptional cardiac care beyond borders.

To further strengthen our presence in Indonesia, Gleneagles JPMC hosted its first international health talk in Jakarta in collaboration with Bank Syariah Indonesia. The exclusive “Health is Wealth” session featured valuable insights by our hospital’s cardiac experts, Professor Dr Eugene Sim and Dr Mohamad Ezam, on heart disease prevention, treatment, and the latest surgical advancements.

As we continue to prioritise patients, Gleneagles JPMC remains committed to advancing clinical excellence and establishing our hospital as a best-in-class destination for cardiac care.
