"Care That Empowers, Where It Matters" is at the heart of IHH Healthcare's Mental Health Week from 11 to 17 October 2025 to foster a supportive workplace.

In observance of World Mental Health Day, IHH’s commitment to embed mental health advocacy into its corporate culture continues through the provision of resources to its global workforce such as the Intellect App, Well-being Moments - a dedicated internal community space, and the support of trained Mental Health First Aiders.
Recognising that comprehensive healthcare starts with caring for the caregivers, IHH has launched practical, engaging, and visible initiatives to bring mental health to the forefront:
- Empowering employees from within: IHH is actively building a supportive internal ecosystem. A key initiative is the training of approximately 300 employees who have volunteered to become Mental Health First Aiders. These individuals are equipped to offer initial support to colleagues, reinforcing the idea that care truly starts from within.
- Internal platforms also provide continuous support:
- Well-Being Moments: IHH’s Group Learning and Development team co-created this online platform as a community space where employees can access resources, past webinar recordings, and feel valued and supported on their mental well-being journey.
- Intellect App: This resource supports employees' resilience-building through immersive self-guided learning modules. It includes "rescue sessions" designed to help staff regain motivation and recover when feeling drained or lacking drive.
- United We Care App: Fortis, through United We Care and Adayu (a Fortis Group Company) developed and rolled out to all Fortis units, a comprehensive well-being app offering tools, resources, and round-the-clock multi-language professional support.
IHH's commitment extends beyond its organisational walls. This includes actively working to raise awareness and break the stigma associated with mental health in the broader community. For example, at the recent IHH Healthcare x Singapore Sea Regatta, IHH partnered with the Singapore Association for Mental Health to collectively champion this vital cause.
