10 Jun 2026

Gleneagles JPMC recently held outreach events in East Kalimantan, led by Chief Operating Officer Mr ‘Izzul Hamzi bin Haji Jomari, as part of its on-going cardiac knowledge sharing sessions.

Partnering with Rumah Sakit Parikesit, the first event sees cardiologists, clinicians and nurses converging for a meaningful clinical discussions.

The session created an opportunity to exchange expertise, explore complex cases and deepen understanding of cardiac capabilities across both institutions. Senior leaders and clinical experts, including Dr Eugene Sim, Chief of Clinical Services and Director of Cardiac Surgery at Gleneagles JPMC, contributed to the dialogue.

Separately, a heart health awareness session was held at Bank Danamon in Samarinda. Participants, including priority banking clients and staff, were engaged in an insightful session led by Gleneagles JPMC’s Deputy Head of Interventional Cardiology, Dr Keyvan Kamalvand, highlighting on cardiac procedures, risk factors for heart disease and critical steps to take during a heart attack.

These sessions reflect IHH Healthcare’s focus on collaboration and continuous learning, strengthening clinical capabilities while supporting better outcomes for patients across the region.
