Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong Delivers Seamless Musculoskeletal Care
17 Jun 2026

Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong is strengthening musculoskeletal (MSK) care through closer collaboration, bringing together insurers and healthcare providers to support a more connected and patient-centred treatment journey.

As a hospital partner in Blue Cross’ newly launched MSK Care Pathway, Gleneagles is part of an integrated network spanning multiple healthcare institutions across Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area. The initiative is designed to make care more seamless and accessible, guiding patients from diagnosis to treatment, surgery and rehabilitation with greater clarity and confidence.

MSK conditions often require care across multiple specialties, which can be complex for patients to navigate. By integrating services across institutions and aligning care pathways, the programme simplifies this journey. Patients benefit from more coordinated care, clearer treatment plans and improved continuity, while also supporting more cost-effective outcomes through closer insurer-provider collaboration.

At the launch event, Dr Kenneth Tsang, Regional Chief Executive Officer of IHH Healthcare North Asia and Chief Executive Officer of Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong, shared how the hospital is advancing MSK care through a personalised, multidisciplinary approach. This includes close collaboration with insurers to enhance both clinical outcomes and the overall patient experience.

At Gleneagles, MSK care is delivered through integrated teams across orthopaedics, rehabilitation and allied health. Patients are supported at every stage of their journey with care plans tailored to their individual needs.

This approach is further strengthened by the adoption of advanced technologies and evolving treatment techniques, enabling more precise interventions and improved recovery outcomes.

The MSK Care Pathway reflects a broader shift in healthcare, where collaboration plays a critical role in improving access, coordination and patient experience. By combining clinical expertise with integrated care pathways, Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong is helping to deliver more seamless, reassuring and effective musculoskeletal care.
