Helping the Community to Stay Safe
16 Aug 2020

Doing its part to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, Gleneagles Hospital Kota Kinabalu teamed up with the University Malaysia Sabah to produce 100 litres of hand sanitisers for low income families in the community.

The 2,000 bottles of 50ml alcohol-based hand sanitisers were made according to the World Health Organization's recommended formula and were distributed from 14 July onwards.

Through this effort, the hospital hopes to encourage people to practise good hand hygiene as a way to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
