Transforming Our Future: A Decade of Quality & Safety
16 Oct 2025

The 10th IHH Healthcare Quality Summit 2025 in Hong Kong brought together more than 200 leaders, clinicians and quality champions from across our global network to reaffirm our commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, and transformative care.

Under the theme “Transforming Our Future”, this year’s summit shone a light on how IHH is reimagining care through continuous improvement, collaboration and the courage to challenge convention. Over two days of keynotes, panel discussions, best practice sharing, poster presentations and awards, participants explored how we can elevate patient safety, experience and clinical outcomes.

For the first time, Data and AI had a dedicated segment, alongside Clinical Excellence, Sustainability, Innovation, Service & Operational Excellence, and Lab Advancement. IHH Group Chief Financial Officer Dilip Kadambi also unveiled our Data and AI strategy anchored on governance, technology and collaboration across clinical, operational and procurement domains.

In his opening remarks, Dr Prem Kumar Nair, Group Chief Executive Officer of IHH Healthcare, described transformation as a shared journey of purpose.

“Transformation is not a single leap, it is a continuous evolution. It demands courage to challenge convention, wisdom to embrace collaboration, and passion to serve with purpose,” said Dr Prem.

He also highlighted how IHH is futureproofing its business through key focus areas such as clinical excellence, new care models, operational excellence and the application of technology and AI, adding that “we must be willing to disrupt ourselves before others do.”

At the Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony, which honoured extraordinary teams and individuals who exemplify IHH’s commitment to continuous improvement and world-class care, Tan Sri Dr Nik Norzrul Thani, Chairman of IHH Healthcare, reflected on the unity and shared vision that define IHH’s success.

“The future of healthcare is not something we inherit, but something we shape together,” said Tan Sri Dr Nik Norzrul. “Tonight, we celebrate not only our achievements, but also the strong culture of collaboration that continues to propel us forward.”

From clinical breakthroughs to sustainability initiatives, the summit celebrated the people who bring IHH’s ambition to be a global healthcare leaders to life by advancing care, shaping excellence and building trust every day.
