Driving clinical excellence through strategic partnerships - the Greater Bay Area (GBA) International Oncology Symposium 2024 co-hosted by Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong ignites dialogue to enahnce cancer care and research.
From 23- 24 March, Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong co-hosted the Greater Bay Area (GBA) International Oncology Symposium 2024, in partnership with The University of Hong Kong-Shenzhen Hospital and Hong Kong University’s Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine.
Renowned global cancer experts gathered to explore latest developments in various cancer types, precision cancer medicine, and ways to enhance the quality and effectiveness of cancer care, as well as opportunities for clinical service and research collaboration in the Greater Bay Area.
Dr Kenneth Tsang, CEO of Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong, highlighted the hospital’s commitment to oncology care, stating, “Through our close collaboration with HKU and oncology experts, we have established several oncology centres and implemented Tumor Boards, where cases are regularly reviewed to ensure the most effective patient care plans. They also serve as platforms for exploring the latest technologies in cancer diagnosis and treatments, fostering professional and academic exchange and development.”
