Gleneagles JPMC Advances Cardiac Care in Asia with Next-Gen Imaging System
12 Jun 2025

In a significant move towards transforming cardiac care in Brunei and the region, Gleneagles JPMC has introduced a next-generation biplane cardiac imaging system by Philips.

With dual-angle high-definition imaging for enhanced accuracy and seamless integration of intravascular tools, the system enhances how clinicians diagnose and treat complex cardiovascular conditions. The result: more accurate visualisation, faster and safer minimally invasive procedures, reduced radiation exposure, and better outcomes for patients.

Gleneagles JPMC performed nearly 4,000 minimally invasive cardiac procedures in 2024 alone. With the launch of the new imaging platform, we are reinforcing our position as a regional leader in precision heart care, making sophisticated interventions safer and more accessible than ever.

This milestone was officiated by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II, in his capacity as Chairman of Gleneagles JPMC. He was joined by our Chief Executive Officer, Dr Peter Tay, and the clinical team, underscoring a shared commitment to innovation and excellence in patient care.

At IHH Healthcare, we are committed to advancing healthcare through investment in technology, ensuring every heartbeat is in the best hands
