IHH Healthcare Malaysia highlights Care. For Good. through its role as title partner and official medical provider of The IHH Sky Race | Merdeka

Taking place on 22 and 23 August 2026 at Merdeka 118, Malaysia’s tallest building and the second tallest in the world, the event will see up to 9,000 participants take on 118 floors and 2,845 steps in a vertical challenge that celebrates endurance, determination and personal achievement.
From elite athletes and fitness enthusiasts to first-time stair climbers, families and corporate teams, The IHH Sky Race brings together participants of different fitness levels with a shared goal: to challenge themselves and move towards better health.
Under a three-year partnership, IHH Healthcare Malaysia will provide on-site medical support, pre-event health activations and curated wellness programmes, drawing on the combined expertise of Gleneagles Hospitals, Pantai Hospitals and Prince Court Medical Centre.
For IHH Healthcare Malaysia CEO Dr Kamal Amzan, the partnership reflects a broader view of health that begins well before hospital care is needed. “Good health is built long before someone needs a hospital. It starts with everyday choices — staying active, pushing boundaries, and finding reasons to move more,” he said.
As The IHH Sky Race | Merdeka 118 joins the ranks of globally recognised tower climbs such as the Empire State Building Run-Up and the Taipei 101 Run Up, the event also highlights IHH’s aspiration to Care. For Good.
