On 4 June 2025, Gleneagles JPMC officially open registrations for World Heart Day Brunei Run 2025 to champion cardiovascular health awareness

Gleneagles JPMC Kicks Off World Heart Day Brunei Run 2025

Slated for 5 October 2025 at Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar 'Ali Saifuddien, this annual community initiative reinforces the hospital's commitment to combating cardiovascular diseases through proactive health awareness and physical activity.

The event invites participants of all fitness levels to choose between three race categories – the competitive 10km, the intermediate 5km, or the family-friendly 2.5km fun run. Each route is designed to encourage widespread participation while promoting the critical message of heart health prevention, aligning with global World Heart Day observances on 29 September.

The event serves as both a fitness challenge and an educational platform, spotlighting the importance of regular exercise in preventing heart disease. Participants will receive the exclusive 2025 World Heart Day Run T-shirt, a recognition of their commitment to personal and community wellness.

As a cornerstone of Gleneagles JPMC's corporate responsibility in healthcare advocacy, the World Heart Day Run exemplifies the power of community-driven health solutions. The hospital calls upon corporations, families, and fitness enthusiasts to register en masse, transforming individual strides into a collective movement for national well-being.
