The programme welcomed participants from China, Singapore, Japan, Germany, the United States and Canada, providing opportunities to experience different healthcare systems and gain exposure to international medical environments across the IHH network. Designed to broaden participants' understanding of modern healthcare, the programme covered topics ranging from clinical practice and healthcare innovation to hospital operations, management and career exploration. Students also took part in hands-on learning experiences such as suturing, ultrasound and CPR training.
Throughout the programme, participants engaged with healthcare professionals and explored advanced technologies shaping the future of medicine, including artificial intelligence in healthcare, Histotripsy, Mako robotic-assisted surgery and proton therapy. These experiences provided insights into how innovation is transforming patient care and healthcare delivery.
Leveraging IHH Healthcare's integrated global network, the programme also fostered cross-cultural learning and knowledge exchange, helping participants develop a broader perspective on healthcare systems and medical careers around the world.
