At IHH, we believe in shaping the future of care - not in silos, but through partnership, purpose, and bold collaboration. We recently organised our inaugural FutureHealth. Now conference held alongside the launch of our new brand identity in Kuala Lumpur.
The full-day event gathered more than 300 industry leaders and experts from public and private sectors, united in a single mission: to build healthcare systems that are more accessible, sustainable, and patient-focused.
Following a welcome address by Dr Prem Kumar Nair, Group CEO of IHH Healthcare and an opening keynote video by Minister of Health Malaysia, YB Datuk Seri Haji Dr. Dzulkefly bin Ahmad, the conference brought together a powerful mix of decision-makers, clinicians, technologists, and sustainability champions to explore the future of health through four dynamic panel discussions:

A/Prof Keith Lim (IHH Healthcare Group Chief Medical Officer), Azrul Mohd Khalib (Founder & Chief Executive Officer, Galen Centre for Health and Social Policy), Dr Chan Boon Kheng (Group Chief Executive Officer, Asia OneHealthcare) and Manisha Keyal (Chief Health Officer, Prudential Assurance Malaysia), the session explored how to operationalise value-based care to improve outcomes and equity.

Panellists included Dr Peter Chow (CEO, IHH Singapore), Lim Wai Mun (CEO & Founder, DoctorAnywhere), Dr Vaishnavi Jeyasingam (Senior Consultant Clinical Oncologist, Hospital Kuala Lumpur), and Dr Yap Wei Aun (Director, Health Transformation Office, Ministry of Health Malaysia), who shared bold ideas on breaking silos and improving care transitions across systems.
- Future-proofing Healthcare - Strategic Responses to Megatrends: Moderated by Mr Ashok Pandit (Group Chief Corporate Officer, IHH Healthcare), explored strategic responses to megatrends such as AI, workforce transformation, and global disruptions. The lively session featured Dr Ritu Mittal Garg (Chief Growth & Innovation Officer, Fortis Healthcare), Jahabar Shalih (APAC Lead, Health Partnerships @ Google for Health), Suriaghandi Suppiah (Healthcare Advisor, Employees Provident Fund), and Vikram Kapur (Head of Global Healthcare and Life Science Practice, Bain & Company).
- One Health, One Planet - Working Together for Sustainable Impact: Closing the day was a critical conversation on sustainability, moderated by Yasemin Tecmen Stubbe, IHH’s Group Chief Sustainability Officer. She was joined by Dr Shuba Srinivasan (CEO, Prince Court Medical Centre), Melody Melo-Rijk (Regional Climate & Health Manager, Health Care Without Harm - SEA), Eric Lim (Chief Sustainability Officer, UOB Group), and Michelle Tog (SVP, Governance & Sustainability, Bursa Malaysia), who discussed how healthcare must lead in climate resilience and environmental stewardship.
The conference concluded with Dr Kamal Amzan, Acting CEO of IHH Malaysia, reading the Closing Remarks on behalf of Deputy Minister of Health Malaysia, YB Dato Lukanisman bin Awang Sauni.
From value-based care to climate impact, FutureHealth. Now marked a pivotal moment in our transformation journey. At IHH, we believe the future of healthcare is not something to predict - it’s something to build together as we aspire to Care. For Good.
