Fortis Healthcare has entered into a strategic collaboration with Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bodh Gaya to strengthen the talent pipeline in hospital and healthcare management.

On 9 July, Dr Ashutosh Raghuvanshi, Managing Director & CEO of Fortis Healthcare and Dr Vinita Sahay, Director of IIM Bodh Gaya, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to elevate IIM Bodh Gaya’s MBA in Hospital & Healthcare Management (MBA-HHM). The partnership will enhance the programme through real-world exposure, an industry-aligned curriculum, and leadership development opportunities.
Under the MOU, Fortis Healthcare will play an active role in shaping course content related to managing hospital businesses. The collaboration will also provide summer internships and placement opportunities at Fortis hospitals and healthcare facilities, both in India and abroad, offering students invaluable hands-on experience at one of India’s leading integrated healthcare providers.
In line with the three-fold scope of the initiative - education enhancement, practical training and collaborative industry engagement - the two institutions will co-create training programmes, conclaves, roundtables, seminars, and conferences to drive thought leadership and innovation in hospital and healthcare management.
Launched in 2023, IIM Bodh Gaya’s MBA-HHM programme offers a comprehensive view of the healthcare ecosystem including corporate hospitals, public health, insurance, pharma, medtech, digital health, and consulting.
This collaboration reflects Fortis Healthcare’s continued commitment to building future-ready talent, fostering academic excellence, and contributing meaningfully to the healthcare industry’s evolution in India.
