Riding On a Strong Start
17 Dec 2020

Gleneagles Chengdu Hospital turned one on 26 October. Reflecting on an eventful year marked by progressive ramp-up of hospital services, staff training and COVID-19 community relief efforts, the team looks ahead to bring quality healthcare to more people in Western China.

Last year on the same day, Gleneagles Chengdu Hospital launched the International Medical Dialogue to officially mark the opening of our new hospital. It was also its first public event to promote the best-in-class specialities and patient care provided by our new 350-bed facility.

Following that, more efforts were made to provide customers with high-quality medical services. For example, the team conducted staff training on medical service and patient care awareness, treatment communication as well as bedside etiquette to ensure the best medical and patient care were delivered.

To make medical care more accessible and convenient to our patients, our hospital leveraged innovation to transform care to our patients by providing one-stop services on Wechat. Patients can now enjoy quick access to online appointments and information about our physicians, medical services and other medical and health services.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, our team extended a helping hand to the affected communities by donating essential supplies. Our hospital also conducted a series of public education talks on social media and mobile application to help people cope with the pandemic. A telephone hotline was also set up by our doctors to provide professional advice daily.

A big thank you to our colleagues at Gleneagles Chengdu Hospital for these remarkable achievements.
