Next-level Excellence in Robotic-assisted Surgery
26 Jan 2024

Leading robotic surgeons across IHH’s global network gathered in Gurugram, India on 8 and 9 December 2023 for the 4th IHH Clinical Exchange Programme.

Themed 'Robotic-assisted Surgery', the two-day symposium hosted by Fortis Healthcare brought together leading robotic surgeons from Fortis Healthcare, Gleneagles India, IHH Singapore, IHH Malaysia and Gleneagles Hong Kong, who deep-dived into the different facets of robotic-assisted surgery.

Besides hearing from Dr Ashutosh Raghuvanshi, Managing Director & CEO of Fortis Healthcare, Dr Bishnu Panigrahi, Group Head of Medical Strategy and Operations, Fortis Healthcare and Dr Keith Lim, Group Head of Medical and Quality, IHH Healthcare, the attending experts also exchanged insights on practices, innovations and advancements in the field of robotic-assisted surgery through video workshops, podium presentations and vibrant panel discussions.

With specialties ranging from gynaecological oncology and urology to general and gastrointestinal, colorectal, head and neck and cardiothoracic surgeries, the event was a showcase of our shared commitment to elevate medical excellence for the good of our patients.

And it wasn’t all work and no play. The participants basked in the rich cultural heritage of India during the Dance and Musical evening and enjoyed a day trip to the Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is recognised as one of the seven wonders of the world.

The symposium allowed clinicians across our markets to connect, learn and share knowledge with one another – all in the name of elevating medical excellence and patient outcomes.
