Transforming Together at IHH Group CEO Global Town Hall
19 Feb 2025

The 2025 IHH Group CEO Global Town Hall was a dynamic showcase of clinical excellence, innovation and transformation, powered by the collective strength of our 70,000 workforce.

Streamed live on 17 February from Raffles City Convention Centre, Singapore, the annual IHH Group CEO Global Town gathered close to 3,000 colleagues online and in person on a journey of transformation towards a bold future in healthcare.

Themed “Transforming Together: From Ideas to Impact”, the event opened with a creative, AI-generated video that reflects IHH’s readiness to embrace innovation and technology to elevate patient outcomes and experience.

The excitement continued with a fun quiz that carried thought-provoking messages that everyone in the organisation plays a role in driving impactful change. This was followed by an engaging exchange between IHH Group CEO Dr Prem Kumar Nair and Su-Yen Wong, Chair of the Singapore Institute of Directors, both of whom presented further insights on why and how we should embrace transformation in their respective presentations.

A key highlight was the IHH Ideacles Challenge, where the top 5 winners from Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong showcased their groundbreaking ideas to make IHH the ultimate healthcare company. Their presentations proved beyond doubt that innovation and creativity can stem from within our own team.

A Vision for Tomorrow

In his presentation, Dr Prem underscored the urgency of transformation in a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape. He emphasised that IHH’s journey is not just about implementing AI or digital tools but about fostering a culture of learning, adaptability, and continuous improvement.

“Transformation is a collective effort as we move forward as One IHH. It’s not about big, bold moves, but small improvements that drive lasting change. Anyone with a growth mindset can turn ideas into real impact,” shared Dr Prem.

Building on this momentum, the Transformation Challenge 2025 was launched, allowing employees to turn their innovative ideas into reality with up to SGD10,000 in funding from IHH to pilot selected projects. On top of that, the IHH Healthcare Research Grant and Innovation Sandbox was unveiled to support breakthrough research and collaborative efforts that elevate patient care.

Dr Prem also celebrated the dedication of IHH’s teams across the globe, recognising their commitment to uplift our communities and elevate healthcare excellence. He introduced new initiatives to further support and empower employees, including new training programmes, the IHH Growth Carnival, and the SPEAK UP initiative.

Moving forward as One IHH, the focus remains on innovation, collaboration, and pushing the boundaries of healthcare. With a renewed drive to meaningful change, we are set to lead the way in cutting-edge, value-based healthcare.
