Shaping the Future of Oncology at Fortis Cancer Summit 2026
07 May 2026

Held on 1–3 May 2026 in New Delhi, the Fortis Cancer Summit 2026 brought together healthcare leaders, oncology experts and clinicians from around the world to exchange insights, strengthen partnerships and shape the future of cancer care.

The summit opened with a distinguished inaugural session officiated by Shri Taranjit Singh Sandhu, Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, setting the stage for meaningful discussions focused on transformation, innovation and improving patient outcomes in oncology.

Anchored around the theme “Beyond Evidence-Based Oncology”, the summit convened more than 1,200 delegates, over 500 national faculty members and over 100 international experts from more than 25 countries. The gathering reflected a strong shared commitment to advancing cancer care through collaboration, multidisciplinary expertise and global knowledge exchange.

During the summit, Dr Prem Kumar Nair, IHH Healthcare Group Chief Executive Officer, highlighted the importance of collective action in addressing the growing complexity of oncology care and translating scientific advancements into meaningful patient impact.

“The challenges in oncology today are too complex to be addressed in isolation; they require shared learning, global partnerships, and a collective commitment to improving patient outcomes.”

Led by Dr Ashutosh Raghuvanshi, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Fortis Healthcare, and his team, the summit reflected Fortis’ continued efforts to create impactful platforms that foster knowledge exchange, strengthen clinical collaboration and advance patient-centric oncology care.

Throughout the summit, speakers underscored the growing role of innovation in precision medicine, technology and multidisciplinary care in delivering more personalised, accessible and effective treatment pathways for patients in India and across the globe.

The Fortis Cancer Summit 2026 reinforced IHH’s commitment to healthcare leadership, clinical excellence and transforming care through collaboration across borders and disciplines.
