On 10 and 11 December, we celebrated Parkway Shanghai’s 20th Anniversary with employees and key stakeholders. To mark two decades of healthcare excellence in China, we unveiled our refreshed brand positioning: ‘Precision Care, Warmly Delivered’ and announced our new flagship ambulatory care centre which will open at Shanghai Plaza in 2025.
The brand relaunch reaffirms Parkway Shanghai’s commitment to offering compassionate, high-quality healthcare tailored to the needs of both local and international patients.
With around 100 experienced physicians from over 20 countries, Parkway Shanghai provides holistic care that prioritises both physical and mental well-being. It has seamlessly integrated global expertise with local practices, establishing a robust healthcare network across Shanghai.

Come 2025, our flagship ambulatory care centre at Shanghai Plaza is set to open, offering cutting-edge healthcare services that blend precision with compassion. The 7,000-square-metre facility located in the heart of Downtown Shanghai will feature specialties such as internal medicine, general surgery, and paediatrics. Designed with privacy and comfort in mind, it will include advanced surgical suites and a multidisciplinary team to cater to diverse patient needs.
The 11 December event, joined by government officials, consulates, corporate partners and members of the community, underscored Parkway Shanghai’s role and contribution to the healthcare ecosystem.
Dr Prem Kumar Nair, Group CEO of IHH Healthcare, highlighted the organisation’s alignment with China’s growth, “As the Chinese government continues to introduce new policies to encourage foreign investment in the healthcare sector, we are confident that Parkway Shanghai will have even greater opportunities for growth. By collaborating with more local healthcare partners, we aim to unlock new possibilities and contribute to the high-quality development of China’s healthcare industry.”
Since entering the Chinese market in 2004, Parkway Shanghai has built a reputation for patient-centric care. Its “In China, For China” strategy also reflects a deep commitment to supporting the “Healthy China 2030” vision.
