From 30 August to 31 October 2025, every kilometre walked translated into funds for residents in need. With an ambitious target of 20,000 kilometres, equivalent to S$20,000 in supermarket vouchers, the Mount E team rallied together in true spirit of care and camaraderie. Their collective effort paid off as they surpassed the goal ahead of time, clocking an impressive 20,368 kilometres and raising S$20,368 for the cause.
Mount E on the Move: Operation Walk Together
One of the key highlights in their journey was Mount E on the Move: Operation Walk Together — a vibrant event designed to inspire movement, connection, and community.
The day began with an energising Zumba session led by the Parkway Rehab team, followed by a lively heritage trail that took participants across Orchard Road in search of clues at iconic landmarks. To wrap up the day, the Nursing team hosted health education booths offering practical tips on healthy eating, hygiene, and maintaining a balanced BMI.
The event brought together over 370 participants, including staff, families, friends, and young adults from the hospital’s CSR partner, the Autism Resource Centre (Singapore) (ARC). ARC’s dedicated volunteers and E2C coaches also joined in, adding to the spirit of inclusivity and teamwork. Together, the team covered 4,730 kilometres, contributing S$4,370 in supermarket vouchers to the fundraising total.
Walking with Purpose and Heart
More than just a fitness challenge, this initiative reflected Mount Elizabeth Hospital’s ongoing commitment to holistic well-being — nurturing both personal health and community support. It was a meaningful way to stay active, connect as one, and rediscover the stories and heritage that surround us each day.
Congratulations to the Mount E team for walking the talk, proving that when we move with purpose and heart, every step counts.
