9th IHH Healthcare Quality Summit and 2nd Igniting Innovation in Healthcare Conference

From 26 to 28 September, IHH Healthcare hosted two signature annual events in Mumbai, India, showcasing our commitment to transforming healthcare through quality and innovation. Here are the highlights from the 9th IHH Healthcare Quality Summit and 2nd Igniting Innovation in Healthcare Conference.

9th IHH Healthcare Quality Summit: Redefining Healthcare For A New World

On 27 and 28 September, IHH Healthcare held its 9th Quality Summit to the theme of “Redefining Healthcare for a New World”. The summit brought together delegates from across IHH;s global network to discuss the future of care, focusing on clinical excellence, sustainability, and patient-centred innovation.

“Our goal is simple: to offer healthcare services that are not just good, but exceptional,” said Tan Sri Dr Nik Norzrul Thani bin N Hassan Thani, Chairman of IHH Healthcare. Attended by over 500 participants, the summit featured speakers like Nandan Nilekani, Non-Executive Chairman of Infosys, who shared insights on digital transformation in healthcare.

As aptly described by Dr Ashutosh Raghuvanshi, Managing Director & CEO of Fortis Healthcare, and Anurag Yadav, CEO of Gleneagles Healthcare India, the summit was “not just for discussion, but a launchpad for action and transformative change.”

2nd Igniting Innovation in Healthcare Conference

On 26 September, IHH Healthcare and Fortis Healthcare co-hosted the 2nd Igniting Innovation in Healthcare Conference, bringing together over 100 healthcare leaders and stakeholders from hospitals, payors, technology companies, start-ups, and investors to discuss how innovation can tackle current challenges and shape the future.

Key speakers included Dr Prem Kumar Nair, Group CEO of IHH Healthcare, Dr Ashutosh Raghuvanshi, Managing Director and CEO of Fortis Healthcare, Puneet Chandok, President of Microsoft India & South Asia, and CP Gurnani, Co-Founder of AIonOS.

These thought leaders shared their vision on how technology, collaboration, and fresh thinking can transform the healthcare landscape, bridging gaps in access, quality, and cost. One thought-provoking question emerged: “When the wind of change blows, do we build walls or windmills?” At IHH Healthcare, the answer is clear. Innovation is integral to our business, as we unlock new solutions to improve access, quality, and cost.

Dynamic panel discussions, a startup pitch session, and a reverse pitch with investors provided a platform for fresh ideas, reinforcing the role of innovation in improving healthcare access, quality, and affordability.

Shaping the Future of Healthcare

Both events underscored IHH’s ambition to improve healthcare through innovation, clinical excellence, and collaboration. Together, we are driving meaningful change and setting new standards for accessible, high-quality healthcare.

We thank all our speakers, participants, and teams for their invaluable contributions. Collectively, we are raising the bar and transforming healthcare for all.
