Our team at BGS Gleneagles Global Hospital, Kengeri has launched a COVID-19 outreach vaccination drive, in response to the alarming spike of cases in Karnataka.
Every day, the hospital sends out a dedicated team to the neighbourhood to inoculate members of the public, many of whom are fearful of going out to get vaccinated due to the surge in COVID-19 cases.
Sandeep Kumar, CEO of BGS Gleneagles Global Hospital, said, “As COVID-19 cases are increasing, it is essential for all eligible citizens to get themselves vaccinated. We have taken this initiative as our corporate social responsibility towards the community, by reaching out and vaccinating them, in accordance with protocols listed by the Government for the safety of the community.”
At present, the team is covering neighbouring residences and will soon extend the initiative to drive-in offices.
