This two-day event brought together global health policymakers, business leaders, investors, service providers, academics and startups to exchange ideas and explore the future of healthcare.

During the plenary session “Fostering Global Collaboration for a Shared Future”, Dr Prem Kumar Nair, Group CEO of IHH Healthcare and this year’s Honorary Advisor to the Summit, joined fellow panellists to delve into emerging investment and market opportunities, corporate innovation, and the vital role of cross-sector partnerships in reshaping healthcare.

Dr Prem spoke on key global trends transforming the sector, noting that shifts in patient demographics, increasing payor expectations, and rapid technological advancements are driving demand for high-quality, accessible care. He also shared IHH’s strategic direction for growth in Hong Kong and other key markets — with a focus on extending care beyond hospital walls through satellite facilities like primary care clinics and ambulatory care centres.
