Celebrating the D.N.A. of Excellence across IHH Labs
08 Oct 2025

The recent IHH Labs Townhall was especially meaningful as we celebrated the achievements of our medical technologists - the very backbone of IHH Laboratories - through the launch of the Global IHH Labs D.N.A. Award, which stands for Discovery, Nurturing, and Accuracy.

At IHH Labs, we believe the best ideas often come from the people closest to the work - our colleagues across laboratories in Singapore, Malaysia, India, and Türkiye.

The inaugural Global IHH Labs D.N.A. Award was born directly from the voices of our employees during our Employee Engagement Focus Group sessions. What began as an idea shared by our people has grown into a meaningful platform to recognise the passion, precision, and professionalism of our medical technologists - the very backbone of IHH Labs.

“The award is also about building a culture of recognition and pride for our medical technologists across the globe,” said Ashok Pandit, Group Chief Corporate Officer, IHH Healthcare.

“Medical technologists often work behind the scenes, yet their contributions are at the very heart of patient care,” added Sharon Foo, Group Chief Human Resource Officer, IHH Healthcare. “My father was a medical technologist, and I grew up witnessing the quiet dedication, precision, and pride he brought to his work every single day. Through this award, we shine the spotlight on professionals who turn science into healing and dedication into hope.”

As we celebrate the D.N.A. of Excellence, we’re also continuing our commitment to listen and learn. The 2025 Pulse Survey is now open - another opportunity for every team member to speak up and shape our culture, strengthening the workplace we’re building together.

Congratulations to our pioneer cohort of the IHH Labs D.N.A. Award Winners:

To all our laboratory colleagues working tirelessly behind the scenes to deliver fast, accurate, and reliable diagnoses - thank you for being the unsung heroes who make better health possible every day.
