Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong has launched an innovative hypertension care programme in partnership with Hong Kong Telecom and FWD Insurance.
Test Through the DrGo online platform, the hospital can now provide hypertension patients with a spectrum of healthcare support including medical and dietary advice, regular blood pressure monitoring and door-to-door medicine delivery. By combining remote monitoring of blood pressure with teleconsultation, patients have better self-awareness of their health conditions, and are empowered to play a more active role in the management of their health. The care programme is a showcase of better chronic disease management via innovative use of technology.
