A ‘Knockout’ Pink October
28 Oct 2024

Acıbadem launches its "Against Breast Cancer, We Are Ready For Every Round" campaign, featuring a powerful image of a ballerina in pink boxing gloves—symbolizing both the strength and resilience of breast cancer patients.

Acibadem A Knockout Pink October

In conjunction with Pink October, Acıbadem Healthcare Group launched a powerful Breast Cancer Awareness campaign to honour the strength, resilience, and determination required to face breast cancer. Titled "Against Breast Cancer, We Are Ready For Every Round", the campaign is our way of amplifying our message of support and solidarity with breast cancer patients every step of the way.

Pink Boxing Gloves: A Lasting Symbol of Strength

At the heart of the campaign is a powerful image - a graceful ballerina wearing pink boxing gloves. The ballerina symbolises the vulnerability breast cancer patients often feel, while the boxing gloves represent their strength, determination, and readiness to fight through every round of the battle against cancer.

The pink boxing gloves have been chosen as a lasting symbol of Acıbadem’s commitment to breast cancer awareness. This theme will continue to be used in future campaigns, reinforcing the message of strength and resilience in the face of breast cancer.

Amplifying the Message

To ensure widespread visibility and impact, Acıbadem has rolled out a comprehensive campaign across various channels:

  • Campaign visuals are displayed on TV screens across all Acıbadem hospitals.
  • Photo shoot areas for doctors and patients were set up in Acibadem’s hospitals in Ataşehir, Maslak, and Altunizade, allowing them to participate and show solidarity.
  • Social media campaign featuring the key visuals along with an ongoing collaboration with sports celebrities like boxing champions Busenaz Sürmeli and Busenaz Çakıroğlu, further amplifies the campaign’s message.
  • Corporate events and seminars are being held in partnership with companies like LC Waikiki, Koton, and Google to further raise awareness.
  • Commemorative pins have been distributed to breast cancer survivors as a symbol of their courage and strength.
  • Feature on breast cancer awareness was published in the Arab Hospital Magazine, expanding the campaign's reach internationally.
  • Social media content has been translated into 16 different languages to engage global audiences.
  • Breastanbul Congress – a prestigious event, attended by approximately 500 physicians from across the world - saw the campaign prominently featured in Acıbadem’s booth.

Acıbadem's efforts this October reflect our unwavering commitment to supporting patients through every step of their breast cancer journey. Together, we are ready to fight, and together, we are ready to win against breast cancer.
