At the recent IHH Malaysia CEO Town Hall, leaders and staff came together to reaffirm a shared commitment to transforming healthcare through value-based care, sustainable practices, and support for our people.
Transformation at IHH Malaysia is a mindset shift that changes the way we think, work and care. At the recent IHH Malaysia CEO Town Hall, more than 400 leaders and staff gathered to reflect on our progress, align on priorities and renew our commitment to shaping the future of healthcare together.
Led by Jean-François Naa, CEO of IHH Healthcare Malaysia, the session spotlighted major milestones, strategic growth plans, and the people behind our transformation.
IHH Malaysia is expanding in ways that matter. From welcoming Island Hospital, Penang to the IHH network to advancing construction of Gleneagles Hospital Kuching, we are strengthening our presence where it is needed most. New ventures in out-of-hospital care - through GP collaborations and workplace physiotherapy - underscore our commitment to bring trusted care closer to homes and communities.
A cornerstone of our transformation is the Value-Driven Outcomes (VDO) initiative. By measuring what truly matters - patient outcomes and experience - we are making smarter use of resources while delivering better, safer, and more efficient care across our hospitals.
Sustainability was also in focus. Aligned with IHH’s broader environmental goals, IHH Malaysia is taking action to reduce our footprint by installing solar panels, cutting down clinical waste, and reducing the use of high-emission anaesthetic gases like desflurane in our operating theatres.
True transformation starts from within. Leaders addressed feedback shared by staff through the Employee Engagement Survey and other platforms.
With shared purpose, open dialogue, and a relentless drive to improve, IHH Malaysia is living our aspiration to Care. For Good.
