Acibadem Healthcare Group celebrated Nurses Week from 12 to 18 May. Led by Acibadem’s Nurse Services Director Saliha Koc Arslan, her Nursing Services Directorate team produced an inspiring tribute video to appreciate and celebrate Acibadem’s 4,500 nurses across the group.
Nurses Day celebrations were extra significant for Acibadem this year. After the Minister of Health of the Republic of Turkey reported the country’s first COVID-19 case on 11 May, health workers especially doctors and nurses toiled tirelessly at the frontlines. For their heroic efforts in fighting the pandemic, nurses received public attention and praise, emphasising the importance of the nursing profession.
