Pantai Premier Pathology (PPP) celebrated its 25th anniversary on 21 December 2022, with an appreciation dinner for staff and partners attended by IHH Chairman Tan Sri Mohammed Azlan and IHH Managing Director & CEO Dr Kelvin Loh.
Additionally, PPP recently announced two new collaborations with bioMérieux and MiRXES to strengthen our lab diagnostics capabilities.
Under the MOU with French biotech MNC bioMérieux, PPP will set up an Antimicrobial Stewardship Centre of Excellence to promote the responsible use of antibiotics and preserve the efficacy of these drugs for the present and future generations. PPP plays a crucial role in supporting the efforts to contain antimicrobial resistance by identifying the pathogen responsible for a patient's infection and conducting antimicrobial susceptibility testing to determine the optimal antimicrobial therapy for the patient.
The collaboration with MiRXES seeks to provide accessible and affordable molecular oncology testing to Malaysians which includes the early detection of gastric cancer via blood test and DNA testing.
These partnerships are critical towards providing our patients with the best care and clinical outcomes. We look forward to further serving our communities through these partnerships.
