As part of our sustainability movement, IHH Malaysia collaborated with Zero Waste Malaysia as its main sponsor at the Zero Waste Festival 2022 to encourage a low-waste lifestyle that would divert more waste from landfills.
Attended by over 2,000 participants, the festival was abuzz with activities from low waste workshops, a Zero Waste Marketplace, Zero Waste Picnic, and more. Participants were encouraged to bring their own reusable containers to purchase items, a move towards creating a greener Malaysia. This ties in with IHH Malaysia’s pledge and commitment to reduce single-use plastic.
Prior to the festival, a webinar titled “When Zero is the Hero?” was organised by Zero Waste Malaysia which was attended by over 300 IHH Malaysia colleagues. It was an interactive and insightful session where they shared ways to reduce waste in our daily lives.
