Targeted at both internal and external stakeholders, the HealthcareInsider webinar series is an initiative by IHH to discuss the emerging healthcare trends in a post-COVID-19 world.
The second webinar held on 22 September spotlighted the growing importance of digital health. More than 500 attendees heard from IHH Managing Director and CEO Dr Kelvin Loh, CEO of Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong Dr Kenneth Tsang and partner at McKinsey & Company Sachin Chaudhary, as they shared their views and answered questions on digitalisation of healthcare.
If the live poll on “Have you used telemedicine tools?” was any indication, the majority of people who have not tried teleconsultations are open to exploring the online tool.
It is no surprise therefore that by 2024, the digital health sector is expected to be valued at a staggering US$600 billion.
