The ABCs of COVID-19
26 Feb 2020

A key defence against COVID-19 is education. At Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong, forums were organised to educate our staff on how the virus is transmitted and what precautions to take to curb the spread of the disease. The hospital also held two blood donation drives in February in response to a shortage of blood in Hong Kong.

At the forums, the hospital shared with staff the latest measures implemented and addressed their concerns and questions. The attendees also exchanged health tips, for example exercising and eating healthy during this critical period to strengthen the immune system.

Meanwhile, the hospital is keeping staff updated on the outbreak situation through a weekly bulletin.

The hospital team is also working hard to ensure that things are ‘business-as-usual’ for patients seeking treatment at our facility.
