On 27 November, IHH Singapore inked a groundbreaking two-year partnership with Para-Athletics Singapore (PAS) to offer complimentary healthcare services that aims to maximise the potential of our local para-athletes.
Under this ‘Life Renewed’ initiative, the beneficiaries will enjoy quick access to top-notch services like nutrition consultancy, physiotherapy, medical assessments, investigations, and treatments valued at SGD200,000 annually.
The MOU signing took place at Parkway MediCentre @ Woodleigh, IHH SG’s new concept ambulatory care facility that provides convenient and comprehensive outpatient care to the community in the north-eastern region of Singapore. As part of the MOU, IHH SG is sponsoring 60 physiotherapy sessions, 24 occupational therapy sessions, 12 podiatry sessions, diagnostic imaging, blood tests per annum.
“This partnership with PAS is one of IHH Healthcare’s flagship corporate responsibility programmes under the “Life Renewed” banner across our various markets. By holistically engaging our local stakeholders, widening access and making quality healthcare more readily available to the underserved, we hope to nurture a healthier society and truly effect meaningful change,” said Dr Prem Kumar Nair, Group Chief Executive Officer, IHH Healthcare.
