At his inaugural Global Town Hall on 18 January, IHH Group CEO Dr Prem Kumar Nair unveiled our new " Align-Challenge-Empower" (ACE) framework to elevate IHH and create value for all stakeholders.
From an energetic opening dance performance by our very own IHH Malaysia colleagues to inspiring stories of our people going the extra mile for patients – the 2024 Global Town Hall was all about engaging and recognising our employees.
Speaking to more than 3,000 physical and online attendees from across the IHH network at his first Global Town Hall as Group CEO, Dr Prem Kumar Nair shared exciting highlights from the 2023 Employee Pulse Survey in the areas of personal development and growth, collaboration and trust in leadership.
Citing three stories of our employees who went above and beyond to care for patients, Dr Prem thanked our employees around the world for their devotion to patient care that has put IHH on the world map of healthcare excellence.
He also highlighted the 'hidden gems' or unique strengths and achievements of each of our markets, as a lead-up to what’s next for IHH.
The town hall hit another high point with the unveiling of our new ACE strategy framework - Align to grow; Challenge to transform; Empower to excel.
To explain how ACE applies to IHH and our employees, Dr Prem invited IHH Malaysia CEO Jean-François Naa, IHH Singapore Acting CEO Dr Peter Chow, IHH India (Gleneagles) CEO Anurag Yadav and Gleneagles Hong Kong CEO Dr Kenneth Tsang, to join him in a lively panel discussion where they also addressed questions sent in by staff.
And, of course, what’s a Town Hall without injecting some fun and games? The ACE-themed staff activities did just that, with both physical and virtual participants competing enthusiastically for prizes. This not only fostered a sense of camaraderie but also reinforced the message of Align-Challenge-Empower that will guide us in what we do each day at IHH.
