Here’s to our winning apps
06 Apr 2021

Congratulations to our IHH Healthcare Singapore team for bagging the coveted award for Mobile - Healthcare at the Singapore Business Review Technology Excellence Awards 2021. Our two mobile apps – DigiHealth for patients and DigiCare for specialist doctors – get the nod for improving patient care and enhancing the patient experience.

The team has been working tirelessly to create this new single data intelligence platform and this award is a testament to their hard work.

With the DigiHealth app, a one-stop hub, patients can retrieve their imaging and laboratory results, review their health profile and receive recommendations on managing their health and well-being. They can also book appointments at any of Parkway Shenton's GP clinics islandwide or with any of our more than 1,500 specialist doctors accredited by our four hospitals in Singapore.

Specialist doctors, our partners in patient care, are able to benefit from the DigiCare app which allows them to provide better and more prompt care for their patients through on-the-fly updates about their patients’ conditions.

"This journey nudged the group out of our comfort zone to do things differently – from offering traditional brick and mortar business services to exploring greenfield ones like telehealth; from outsourcing IT projects to building in-house IT capabilities. The deeper we delve, the more we realise we are only just scratching the surface. The possibilities are indeed limitless,” said Roland Liew, Head of Digital Transformation at IHH Singapore.

With the awards to back them, who knows what they will go on to achieve next? Keep up the good work team!
