Taking the opportunity of global borders reopening, leaders of our laboratory units across the world gathered in Singapore for the inaugural IHH Laboratories Strategic Retreat that was held over 2 days on 18 & 19 July.
The retreat led by Ashok Pandit, Group Chief Strategy & Business Development Officer, was filled with dynamic discussions, alignment of strategies and synergy amongst 50 over attendees from our global labs, Legal, Finance, HR and Corporate Communications business units.
‘Developing the laboratory business’, as shared by Dr Kelvin Loh, Managing Director & CEO, earlier this year, is one of our new growth peaks and core business of IHH Healthcare.

With this growth opportunity in mind, our leaders of major laboratory units such as Pantai Premier Pathology in Malaysia, Parkway Laboratories in Singapore, Acibadem's LabMed in Turkey and Fortis’ SRL Diagnostics in India, held fervent conversations & consultations with one another on how we can develop better healthcare solutions for our consumers with topics ranging from ‘Investing in the Future’ to the ‘Importance of Data & Digitalisation’.
It is heartening to know that beyond the discussions of developing our laboratory business, the core of wanting to do better and emerging stronger, comes with the commitment of our purpose in touching lives and transforming care for our patients.
