On March 16, 2026, the Pan-Vascular Academic Forum hosted by Parkway Shanghai Hospital, a member of the IHH Healthcare global network, was successfully held at the Shanghai New Hongqiao International Medical Center. During the event, witnessed by distinguished guests and experts, the Parkway Shanghai Hospital Pan-Vascular Center was officially inaugurated. Academician Ge Junbo of the Chinese Academy of Sciences was appointed as Chief Scientist of Parkway Shanghai Hospital to lead the center. This milestone marks an important step forward for the hospital in advancing comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of pan-vascular diseases.

The newly established Pan-Vascular Center will break down traditional departmental boundaries by integrating key specialties including Cardiology, Cardiovascular Surgery, Neurosurgery, Endocrinology, Vascular Surgery, and Rehabilitation Medicine. Through this multidisciplinary collaboration, the center aims to promote a shift from "segmented treatment" to a systematic, integrated approach to vascular disease management, building a full-cycle care model that encompasses screening, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention.
