On January 24, 2026, the " 2026 Parkway Shanghai International Forum on Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Diseases" was successfully held at the New Hongqiao International Medical Center. The event was highlighted by the inauguration of the International Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Diagnosis and Treatment Center of Parkway Shanghai Hospital, signifying a pivotal step in establishing a leading Asian hub for comprehensive hepatobiliary and pancreatic disease management. The ceremony gathered distinguished guests, including esteemed academic leaders, expert scholars, and senior representatives.

Witnessed by attendees, the Center was officially unveiled. Built on the core discipline of hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery, it integrates multidisciplinary resources from gastroenterology, oncology, critical care medicine, interventional ultrasound, and pathology to form a systematic and comprehensive diagnosis and treatment platform. By assembling an authoritative expert team, the Center is dedicated to creating a pioneering international multidisciplinary hub that encompasses preventive medicine, precision diagnostics, and advanced non-invasive and minimally invasive technologies.

Looking ahead, the Center will further strengthen international and inter-hospital collaboration. Leveraging the global network of IHH Healthcare, it will continue to introduce cutting-edge technologies, advanced management expertise, and innovative research programs.
