Island Hospital Penang has been named the winner of Malaysia’s first Flagship Medical Tourism Hospital (FMTH) programme, and is the only Penang hospital among the finalists.

This recognition, led by Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council and supported by the Government of Malaysia, comes after 3 years of independent assessments by IQVIA and Joint Commission International (JCI) across clinical quality, patient safety, patient experience, innovation and operational excellence.
