KUALA LUMPUR, 29 May 2025 – Premier Integrated Rehab (“PIR”), formerly known as Pantai Integrated Rehab, has unveiled a new brand identity in conjunction with its 25th anniversary.
The milestone reflects Premier Integrated Rehab’s continued commitment to delivering rehabilitation services that are clinically guided, outcomes-focused and centred around the needs of patients at various stages of recovery.
The rebranding was officially launched at the ‘PIR Unveiled – The Next Chapter’ event held at Four Seasons Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
The event was officiated by Dato’ Indera Dr. Nor Azimi binti Yunus, Deputy Director-General of Health (Medical), Ministry of Health Malaysia.
The updated identity marks Premier Integrated Rehab’s evolution within IHH Healthcare Malaysia, a leading private healthcare provider with an integrated network of 18 hospitals, including Gleneagles Hospitals, Island Hospital, Pantai Hospitals, Prince Court Medical Centre, and Timberland Medical Centre, supported by ancillary services such as Premier Integrated Labs and a chain of primary care clinics under Twin Towers Medical Centre.
It also signals alignment with IHH Healthcare Malaysia’s strategy to provide coordinated care across the healthcare journey – from hospital discharge to community rehabilitation.
Established in 2000, Premier Integrated Rehab has built a network of more than 20 centres nationwide, offering physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech-language therapy delivered by registered Allied Health Professionals.
Each practitioner undergoes credentialing, competency evaluations and privileging processes to ensure safe and effective care in line with IHH’s clinical governance framework.
“Over the past 25 years, we have built a service that supports people through different phases of recovery. The rebrand signals our intent to continue evolving with the healthcare
landscape,” said Hareeff Muhammed, Head of Ambulatory, Allied Health & Ancillary Services, IHH Healthcare Malaysia.
Premier Integrated Rehab’s approach to care is structured around a value-based rehabilitation model. This includes evidence-based clinical practices, outcome measurement, efficient resource use and shared decision-making with patients. The model supports the direction of the Ministry of Health’s White Paper on healthcare transformation, which emphasises quality, accessibility and long-term outcomes.
As part of its innovation strategy, Premier Integrated Rehab has introduced TheraGo, a mobile rehabilitation service designed to bring care directly into the workplace. Through TheraGo, organisations can offer their employees on-site access to physiotherapy, ergonomic assessments and preventive support, integrating recovery and well-being into the
flow of daily work life.
In addition to clinical care, Premier Integrated Rehab is expanding its reach through community partnerships, public university collaborations and outreach programmes,
particularly in underserved areas, in support of broader national goals for decentralised and preventive care that improves accessibility.
As demand for rehabilitation services grows, Premier Integrated Rehab is inviting collaboration from clinicians, insurers, corporates and policymakers to strengthen the rehabilitation ecosystem.
“We believe rehabilitation can play a stronger role in health outcomes,” said Hareeff. “By working together, we can improve access, consistency and continuity in how people recover.”
Premier Integrated Rehab remains guided by IHH Healthcare Malaysia’s shared values, with a strong focus on patient safety, responsible care and building a more integrated and sustainable healthcare ecosystem for the future.
